Since opening our doors in 2019, Success Learning Center has made a significant impact on the lives of our students and their families. We’ve helped countless students improve their grades, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning.
Our tailored programs and dedicated tutors have enabled us to achieve remarkable success stories, and we continue to grow and expand our services to meet the ever-evolving needs of our community.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of helping every student find their unique pathway to success.
Our founders, Michelle and Scott, bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education to Success Learning Center.
Michelle’s extensive background in special education, behavioral therapy, and tutoring has been the driving force behind our personalized approach.
Scott’s support and shared vision have been instrumental in turning this dream into a reality. Together, they are committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of the students and families they serve.
In 2024, Success Learning Center was honored with Idaho’s Best Tutoring Center Award, a testament to their dedication and excellence in education. That same year, they proudly expanded their vision by opening a second location in Ketchum, ID, further extending their reach and impact within the community.
Inspired by her mother, a dedicated elementary teacher, Michelle developed a passion for learning early on.
She pursued a career in special education to address students’ unique needs and, noticing the limitations of traditional classroom settings, shifted to one-on-one tutoring.
Michelle focuses on not only instruction but also mentoring in motivation, goal-setting, and growth mindset, helping students build confidence and improve their academic performance.
She’s a dedicated advocate and partner for parents and students alike and devoted to helping her students love to learn.
Her passion for education is contagious.

Ruby is our wonderful therapy goldendoodle and Success mascot. She graduated with honors in obedience training at Saragold Kennels. She adores her giant collection of handmade collars, loves to make her parents fetch balls and is willing to eat any kind of treat!
Ruby enjoys learning and being read to. She always makes sure to greet the families and students when they enter the centers. Ruby is the sweetest and most supportive dog. If you see her, please know that she is always down for a belly rub and around to lend a helping paw!
We support students from Pre-K through college level and beyond. All ages, levels and abilities are encouraged to enroll.
We have teachers to support all core subjects (Reading, English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), most elective classes, Foreign Languages, and ACT/SAT prep.
Yes! Summer is a great time to prepare for an AP class and can alleviate any stress that may accompany taking a more challenging course. By reviewing some of the material that will be covered at the beginning of the school year, in tandem with AP basics for the specific subject, students are better prepared to start the school year.
Yes! We offer AP test prep whether students need help practicing for the actual AP exam, or want help preparing throughout the school year. We suggest not waiting until the last minute!
Yes! Many students need help with Executive Functioning, which may include staying on top of assignments, due dates, and projects, planning and studying for upcoming exams, and proactively communicating with their teachers. We help students by reviewing their Canvas and PowerSchool and then prioritizing the work that they need the most help with. Organizational support is generally scheduled in 60-75 minute sessions so that students have some time to get started on homework. The biggest impact comes with two sessions per week.
Yes! Summer is a great time to take a class for credit, finish remediation, prepare for the upcoming school year, focus on a specific subject or skill, or prepare for the ACT/SAT or AP class. Summer can be especially beneficial for our younger students so that their math skills don’t diminish with so much time off.
Success Learning defines blended learning as the flexibility of an online course paired with personalized face-to-face instruction. We love utilizing the blended learning model and have found that students learn more, reach their goals, finish their course on time, and improve their self-confidence when they take advantage of this learning platform.
Yes! We offer ACT and SAT test prep. Once we understand the student’s goals and timeline, we create an individual plan to support them. Students are not required to have taken an exam in order to get started; we can establish a baseline for each subject during practice tests at Success Learning, which will help us set realistic goals.
Yes! We recognize that not every student learns the same way and that (most) students need to be taught in a way that maximizes their understanding and learning style/needs. Our staff work very hard to cultivate a learning environment that supports our students’ needs, helps them find success, and allows them to reach their potential. If a student has an IEP or 504 (or has had a neuropsych evaluation but does not yet have formal accommodations), we ask that you share a copy with our Director so that we can understand and implement all accommodations listed therein.

We happily work with school district administrators, teachers, and counselors because we all have the same goal: to provide a solid education and support system for the students of our great communities so that they are prepared for a successful future. We are proud to support our community and our collective students.
